The year 2012 marks the 20th anniversary for Ferrari in China since the first Ferrari, a 348 TS, was ordered in Beijing. To celebrate this historical milestone, in a few weeks time Ferrari will inaugurate its first ever permanent brand exhibition outside of Maranello at the Italia Center of Shanghai World Expo Park.

The car is based on the framework and engine of the Ferrari 458 Italia but features numerous design changes to tweak it back to an appearance of Ferraris of old including the 512 Boxer and the headlights from the Enzo. The car had originally planned to be a 12 cyclinder version but clearly this was too much to ask and as such it seems to run the V8 and controls of the normal car.

The Underground Racing Ferrari 458 Italia with it’s Stage 1 (bolt-on) Twin Turbo System pushing 700 wheel horse power takes on the New Lamborghini 2012 Aventador’s 700 factory horses. Underground Racing will soon be producing Twin Turbo Systems for the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador in preparation for a rematch.
